Hello everyone! No matter who you are, whether you are still studying or working, have you ever thought that just a few small notes in your notebook can change your life? Today, I will share how small notes have helped me make big changes, and you can do it too! Ready to start your journey? Let’s go!
SMALL NOTES – THE BIG POWER YOU DON’T KNOW
I remember when I was 20, I was always “overwhelmed” by work and personal plans. I was very stressed, feeling like I had no control over my life. But then, one day I tried writing everything down in a notebook – from daily tasks to big goals like “Save 5 million in 6 months” or “Take an online design course.” The results were surprising! After just a few weeks, I was more organized, no longer forgot things, and felt much more confident.
Note-taking is not just about writing down things to do – it is a way for you to organize your thoughts, understand your priorities, and gradually move closer to your goals. Whether you are a teenager studying or a busy adult working, note-taking can help you master your journey. So, how to take notes effectively? Let’s see!
4 NOTE-TAKING WAYS TO HELP YOU MAKE BIG CHANGES
1. Start with small, achievable goals
Don’t write big goals like “Complete a project in 1 week!” because it will discourage you. Instead, write small tasks, for example: “Write 500 words for an article today” or “Spend 30 minutes learning a new skill.”
I have tried this method and it works very well! When you complete a small goal, you will be motivated to continue with bigger tasks. Whether you are a student, a student, or a working person, this method can be applied.
2. Decorate your notebook to create inspiration
Note-taking doesn’t have to be boring! Turn your notebook into a “work of art” that makes you excited every time you open it. I often use washi tape to cover the pages, add cute stickers, and color the titles with highlighters.
Decorating my notebook helps me find joy in note-taking, and I believe you will too. Just 5-10 minutes to decorate a page, you will see the difference right away – whether you are 15 or 40, who doesn’t love beauty, right?
3. Use the bullet journal method to organize
Bullet journaling is a super cool way to take notes that many people are addicted to, from Gen Z to working people. You just need a notebook and a pen, then divide the page into sections: to-do list, important events, and personal notes.
For example, I usually write:
● Send email to client (9-9:30am)
● Exercise 20 minutes (6pm)
● Note: Remember to buy a birthday present for my best friend!
This method helps me organize everything clearly, without missing anything. Whether you are studying or working, bullet journaling is a great "assistant". Try it, it's simple and effective!
4. Record your feelings and goals
A notebook is not just for writing down to-do lists - it's also a place for you to write down your feelings and goals. There are days when I'm stressed, I write down all my feelings on paper, and then I feel better.
I also write down big goals, like “Open an online store” or “Travel to Europe in the next 2 years.” Every time I read them, I get more motivation to keep going. You should try writing them down, it will help you understand yourself and keep your dreams alive.
